Sculpture has been the prevailing passion of the artist for the last 20 years. She has worked predominantly in clay but other materials include copper, chocolate, wax and found objects.
She has considerable modeling skills and learnt her casting skills from a master at L'Ecole Des Beaux Arts, Lyon.

Gill's house near Eccles has been sold and she is in the process of building a new house and studio near Allanton, Duns, Scottish Borders. In the meantime she has a studio at Allanbank Courtyard, TD11 3PY .
