SEPTEMBER 3/4/5 The studio, house and garden will be opened over the weekend as part of the Crossing Borders Art Trail. There will be a selling exhibition of Gill's own and students work and an opportunity for visitors of all ages to get their hands dirty and contribute to a large sculptural piece. Free fair trade tea, coffee and homemade cakes will be on offer in the kitchen.
SEPTEMBER 25/26 Life drawing weekend workshop. From Allanbank Courtyard, near Duns. Life drawing for the absolute beginner or the more experienced artist. Full tuition, materials and lunch included.
OCTOBER 12/13 Children's holiday workshops, plaster casts of wierd and wonderful mini beasts.

Gill's house and studio are currently for sale www.rettie.co.uk, but all classes will continue as usual for quite some time. There are plans to build a wooden eco house and studio nearby. The new studio will be bigger and more accessible. Art classes and courses will transfer to the new studio on completion and Gill hopes the transition will happen with as little disruption as possible.
